Configure Sintel Apps on a Site
SharePoint site › Sintel Apps page
Once Sintel Apps has been added to your tenant, set it up on each SharePoint site where you want to build forms.
Before you start:
- Modern SharePoint sites only. Sintel Apps doesn't work on classic sites. Convert a classic site to a modern one first.
- You must be a site owner to do the steps below.
Step 1: Add Sintel Apps to the site
This step is needed only if the app wasn't added to all sites when it was deployed from the tenant app catalog (Enable this app and add it to all sites). Otherwise go to step 2.
- Go to the site's home page.
- Select New › App. (Or: the gear icon › Add an app, or Site contents › New › App.)
- Choose Sintel Apps and select Add.
Step 2: Create the Sintel Apps page
- On the site's home page, select the gear icon › Add a page.
- In the page templates, open the Apps tab.
- Choose Sintel Apps and create the page. You can give it any name, for example Sintel Apps.
The page is saved in the site's Site Pages library. Open it whenever you want to work on a form.
Step 3: Choose or create a list
The Sintel Apps page opens the designer. At first it says: To get started, select, create or import a list in the top bar. Open the list selector (Select a list) in the top bar:
- Pick one of the site's lists to build its form. Include hidden lists shows hidden lists too.
- New list... creates a new list. Type a title in Launch Your New Form and select Proceed. The list is created when you first save the form. See How to Create a New List.
- Import configuration... starts from a form design exported from another list or site. See Importing and Exporting Form Configuration.
Opening the designer later
In a list's command bar, select Sintel Apps to open that list's form in the designer. The button is on lists, not libraries, and needs permission to manage the list. If the site has no Sintel Apps page yet, the button asks you to create one (step 2).
