What is Sintel Apps? (Product Overview) ​

Sintel Apps is a form and workflow solution for Microsoft SharePoint. You build forms for SharePoint lists, with rules that react to what people enter, and approval workflows, all inside your SharePoint site.

What you can do with it ​

  • Build forms with a drag-and-drop designer.
  • Add rules: show or hide parts of the form, make fields required, check values.
  • Build approval workflows with statuses and actions.
  • Decide who can see and do what.
  • Let people outside your organisation fill in forms, where you need it.
  • Export items to PDF.
  • Follow each item's path in its workflow history and SharePoint version history.

How it works ​

Every Sintel Apps form is built on a SharePoint list. The list stores the data. Sintel Apps provides the form, the rules and the workflow. Your data stays in your Microsoft 365 tenant. See Understanding the Underlying SharePoint List.

Who it is for ​

  • Business users who build forms for their team's processes.
  • Administrators who look after Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
  • Developers who need more, for example scripts in rules.
  • Organisations replacing paper forms, InfoPath or standard SharePoint forms.

It works for simple forms and for processes with several approval stages. With Sintel BI you can also build reports and dashboards on the data.
