Workflow Status Widget ​

The Workflow status widget shows the item's current status, with its colour, wherever you put it in the form.

Add the widget ​

  1. In the Layout tab, open Widgets on the left.
  2. Drag Workflow status into a section.
  3. Save the form.

The widget has no settings of its own. The status names and colours come from the Workflow tab.

Good to know ​

  • The form already shows the status at its top, when Show workflow status is on in the form's properties on the Layout tab (it is by default). With the widget as well, the status shows twice. Turn one off.
  • Workflow status theme in Theme & Styling styles the status at the top of the form, not this widget.
  • Without a workflow the widget says Workflow is not enabled for this form. For an item from before the workflow, it says No status found for this form.
